This proverb speaks the truth! Today, I totally got insulted and belittled by another coworker for no apparent reason *in front of other workers as well*. I asked God, "why do I meet people like this?" Whatever doesnt kill you only makes you stronger.

This is so true. Some of the best experience in life comes from facing the choppy and harsh waters of life. It is of course the whole concept that human development partially rests upon facing adversity.

What I associate with this proverb is those people who become very rich because some shananigans, live a shallow life with a big ego, screw up the company and become very little.
